Estimator for bus capacitance on BLDC motor controllers. It uses the simple formula (Ripple current * duty cycle) / (switching freq * voltage ripple) and approximates temperature derating. You will of course need to verify and choose capacitors appropriately, but this will get you in the ballpark.
